4th of July

*Warning – Lots of pictures in this post :).

Rod had to work yesterday, so the kids and I worked on 4th of July printouts and watched Liberty Kids.  When Rod got home we ate hamburgers and corn on the cob.  It was Kaitlyn’s first time eating that, and she loved it.  It doesn’t get dark here until around 10 pm, but we weren’t going to wait that long and we started our fireworks at 8:30.

Gratitude List:

31.)  Getting to experience firsts with my babies.

32.)  Kids working together to light their sparklers.

33.)  A young lady who embraces life.

34.)  A young man who has such an imagination.

35.)  Another young man who loves deeply.

36.)  A little girl who is safe in her daddy’s arms.

37.)  Silly kids.

38.)  Sweet kids.

39.)  Sweet faces full of joy.

40.)  Sweet faces full of amazement.

41.)  Sweet faces full of surprise.

42.)  A man who works so hard, and then comes home and makes special memories for us.

43.)  Living in this country!

What are you thankful for today?

P.S.  Just a little teaser…I am working on a post for Thursday that you won’t want to miss!

What I am thanful for — EYES— to which I can see some of my wonderful sweet family even if its on a internet post. And that God gave us time to know each other. And for LOVE.
